INTERNATIONAL CLIMATE SUMMIT 2022

The focus of ICS 2022 at Bergen, Norway to be held from 30th - 31st August 2022 will give opportunity to global players for making investment In India as well as to bring the technologies under Make-In-India program of Self-Reliant India in renewable energy. This event will also provide networking opportunity with several companies for setting up manufacturing base for electrolysers, R&D, support with reputed Norwegian labs equipment, supplies, instrumentation and control systems, not only by Norwegian companies but also from other companies participating in the event globally.
Greenstat, Arena H2cluster and the Norwegian Hydrogen Forum will represent the Norwegian partnership along with the Indian side represented by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Invest India.

Fuelling the
next generation

Green Hydrogen is considered to be one of the cleanest fuels for both transport and power generation. The cost reduction in hydrogen production, storage, transmission, distribution, and application has become important area of global shift for regulators, investors and consumers.

For a cleaner
greener future

Hydrogen production is energy intensive, and there is a need to exploit non-greenhouse gas producing sources like wind & solar to generate electricity for the purpose. While reducing the burden on fossils fuels, large scale use of hydrogen energy - a 100% clean fuel - will also reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

INTERNATIONAL CLIMATE SUMMIT 2022

Why is the summit important?

International Climate Summit 2022 in Bergen, Norway presents next-generation opportunities for Bi-Lateral Trade, Joint Ventures, Technology Transfer, and International Funding across the green hydrogen industry value chain in India. The event will offer opportunities to Global Players in energy transition in India for Renewable Energy and Green Hydrogen, R&D Collaboration and setting up mega factories for green hydrogen production.

ICS 2022 will  bring together Nobel Laureates, Policy Makers, Regulators, Industry Leaders, Experts & Scientists facilitating global collaboration in building sustainable pathways for production, storage, transportation, distribution, and ambitious deployment of green hydrogen technologies.

The Govt. of India has already announced the National Hydrogen Mission that sets out the road map for hydrogen centric policies and regulations. Scientists and industries across India have undertaken several projects, research & development in the entire value chain of hydrogen. With the cost of renewable energy in India being the least in the world, hydrogen energy will be both economically and technically viable in the near future.

Self reliance in energy through Green Hydrogen

“As demand for energy rises worldwide, there is a growing need for tapping alternate energy sources that are not only greener, but also renewable and abundant in supply. Hydrogen is one such source that has a much higher energy output per unit mass.
India’s advantage due to its geographical location, climate conditions and abundance of renewable sources of energy like solar, wind and hydro make it ideal for becoming the world’s cheapest hydrogen hub by 2050.”
